Co-presented in partnership with Arraymusic.

Back for its second edition after the successful 2023 launch, MAKEWAY is one of Canada’s most impactful composer training programs. What sets MAKEWAY apart is its artist-focused approach: we tailor the experience to fit each composer’s vision. If a unique ensemble is needed, we make it happen, giving participants the freedom to realize their ideas.

In this showcase concert, you’ll meet the creators, hear them introduce their works, and experience the innovative music they’ve crafted. Don’t miss a night of fresh, bold new works.

The MAKEWAY 2025 Call for Submissions is now closed. Thank you for an overwhelming response. We received a record number of applicants and we are looking forward to welcoming our next cohort of Composers in 2027.
